Busy Bees
3's & 4's

The Busy Bee program is specially designed to encourage children ages 3 and 4 to explore the world around them with special interest in basic concepts and skills. We provide hands on experiences for the integration of basic concepts and skills, thereby making learning more meaningful. The Innovations Comprehensive curriculum focuses on encouraging, facilitating, and stimulating a child’s development. It also addresses all of the developmental milestones that all preschool children face, such as adjusting to school, making friends, communicating, and problem solving.

Because a child’s first early experiences are so crucial to development this comprehensive curriculum follows all Ohio’s Early Learning Content Standards including: English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. Each day is divided into activities and experiences that support all areas of development. By involving children in these developmentally appropriate activities, we are able to see and guide each child’s growth and development.

Our Program is also based on our belief that in order for children to be successful there must be a parent-teacher partnership. We make every effort to keep you informed of your child’s achievements. In order to integrate some of the school activities with home activities, we will send home a monthly curriculum guideline. We highly encourage parents to work on the topics discussed at school with your child to complete our parent-teacher partnership. The following contains the overall goals which provide the framework for the development of the children enrolled in our Busy Bee’s Program.
